Refurbish 20,000 square-foot retail furniture display space.
Exterior work included new signage, new paint.
De-constructed and recycled existing ceiling beams and walls that blocked views from the entry to the Design Center.

Built and installed new design center walls, reconfigured tray lighting and installed new low voltage wiring for audio/video presentations.

Installed new, custom-built textile cabinetry to showcase fabric selections.

Cut below slab grade floors to install electrical conduits; salvaged and repaired existing tile floors; and reconfigured overhead lighting to emphasize new display arrangements.

Eliminated some interior partition walls; reconfigured other existing interior walls; and built new vignette walls, including lighting soffits. Also salvaged existing carpet to re-use in new locations.

Installed new, custom-built pillow cabinetry; repainted all interior walls, soffits and recessed display walls; and added molding and column detail to upgrade the furniture scenes.

Mike Arnett is a leader in the Oregon building industry, having served as President of the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland in 2008. Mike also serves on the board of directors for the Oregon Homebuilders Association and National Association of Homebuilders. The state of Oregon has also designated Mr. Arnett a Certified Master Homebuilder.
